SMW Architecture is about creating client’s visions together in a friendly and collaborative way. Often a clearer picture of what you want from a home develops only through designed explorations of different options.
It is not a place where one person communicates with the clients while another does the work.
As an Architect and a Liveable Housing Assessor, I am focused on creating environments which do not sacrifice design for ease of future adaptability. With comfortable and practical spaces utilising clean lines, my aim is to design homes which suit all stages of life where anyone can grow old in with members of different generations living together.

LHA arose from the Kirribilli Dialogue on Universal Housing Design, which established nationally agreed guidelines on designing and building livable homes.Developed by industry and the community, the guidelines provide assurance that a home is easier to access and live in, as well more cost effective to adapt when circumstances change.
Shuk Mun graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2009 with a Masters of Architecture, and is a registered Architect with the ARBV.
From families with young children, people who sustain a temporary injury, older Australians to people with a disability, Livable Homes enable them to manoeuvre, removing trip hazards to main areas of the home and allow for easy adaptation for better accessibility.
A Registered Livable Housing Assessor is qualified to assess LHA housing compliance to Silver, Gold and Platinum level requirements of the Livable Housing Standards in Australia.
